Injection Therapy for Elbow, Wrist, and Hand Pain
Park Gi-Young

Abstract
Musculoskeletal injections of elbow, wrist, and hand should only be delivered following a full assessment of the patient, taking into account the history and examination which lead to clinical diagnosis. To obtain maximal benefit with minimal side effects the general rules such as exact diagnosis, choice of product. equipment, position of the patient, aseptic care, technique of infiltration, follow-up and after- care, must be upheld. For an optimal effect the product administered must be injected directly into the lesion and no in its surroundings by injection and infiltration. Although the aim of all injections and infiltrations is the same, the specific technique may vary depending on the type and lesion and its location.
